Impactful work beyond the numbers

Missed Opts recently supported four groups of participants in completing the Victim Impact/Courage to Change Program, marking a significant milestone in their personal development and rehabilitation journey.

As of June 2025, Missed Opts Inc. has served a total of 194 justice-involved individuals through structured intake assessments as part of its SOR-funded initiative. The program facilitated 218 targeted referrals to vital support services, including behavioral and mental health treatment, employment assistance, education for employment, housing, and transportation. Of those referred, 179 individuals successfully accessed services, achieving an 82% service connection rate—a strong indicator of effective engagement and follow-through.

To reduce transportation barriers, the program issued bus passes to 65 individuals, ensuring clients could access treatment and support appointments. Peer Recovery Support Services played a pivotal role, with 107 peer-led interventions delivered, and 87 individuals receiving continued referral coordination and recovery navigation.

These outcomes underscore the program’s capacity to build strong community linkages, support continuity of care, and meet the complex needs of individuals transitioning from incarceration or institutional treatment settings.
