Community Development
Missed Opts Inc.'s vision is to create a system that supports individual achievement and success for individuals and their families who have been affected by incarceration in hopes that individuals don’t return to prison or a life of crime or substance abuse, and in hopes that they and their families can achieve their fullest potential by using their innate strengths and abilities.
Support Services

Our Department of Corrections (DOC) Services
Victim Impact (10 weeks)
Victim Impact program teaches offenders to look at the impact of their crime on their victims, community, and their own family members. The program is designed to enable the offender to take responsibility for the crime they committed which helps to reduce the likelihood of re-offending. Reducing the number of crimes reduces the number of victims.
Courage To Change (10 weeks)
The Courage to Change program provides a model for the cognitive restructuring of criminal thinking. Modules address topics such as responsible thinking, social values, self-control, family ties, peer relationships, substance use, and skills for success.
